Dear Reese,
You wake up early with a 103.2 fever. It’s the sickest I’ve ever seen you act as you curl into me on the couch with your morning bottle and try to go back to sleep.
But then the Tylenol kicks in, and you are mostly yourself, if not a little extra tired and clingy the rest of the day. We take it easy and hang around home most of the day. Luckily, this evening your fever is way down without medicine, so I’m hopeful, as I give you another dose of grape Tylenol, that it will break overnight.
We walk over to Mariner Road in the late afternoon and do another walk-through of our future house. It’s hard not to go over there as often as possible and imagine what will be. You take the opportunity to walk through the walls. I take pictures so we can remember this stage someday.
Love,
Mama
