17 Months

Dear Reese,

Today, November 17th, you are 17 months old. That seems like both too much time and far too little. Wasn’t it yesterday you were 6 months? But also, we’ve only spent 17 months together? Still shy of a year and a half since you changed my world for the better.

A nice thing about staying with MorMor and Cappi is that they let me shower after dinner while they play with you, so I don’t have to wait until after you’re asleep. I also use their nice tile shower because I am still a kid at heart, and there’s nothing quite like enjoying the luxuries of your parents. I remember using their big bathtub as a kid.

During this shower time, MorMor texts me pictures of you riding on your little pink musical bus with Baby Doll in the backseat. I used to carry that doll everywhere. I love it when you do the same.
