Dear Reese,
In the crib room at daycare, each crib has a mirror on one wall. Yesterday, your teacher tells me they hear laughing from the nap room and find you cracking up at yourself in the mirror.
Today, they send me a video of you taking a few steps with a push walker. You are so pleased with yourself, and I am so proud of you.
One of your teachers, who moved rooms with the older babies, tells me at pickup that you are so affectionate with her now that you don’t see her every day. She is helping out for a bit today, and you lay your head on her shoulder. It’s the sweetest thing in the world when you do that, she tells me. I know what she means.
Love,
Mama
