Dear Reese,
The first hayride of the spring. Last fall, you were strapped into a front carrier on Mama A. This time you’re on my lap, looking out. I am amazed at how big you seem every day.
It’s finally the kind of weather again where both of your naps are outside today. Peninsula State Park in the morning and then up and down Mariner Road and Alpen Lane in the afternoon. My legs get tired, but all of me needs this fresh air and sunshine.
This evening, we go to a Hawaiian-themed birthday party for a neighbor. Over two years ago, I bought a baby Hawaiian shirt outfit at Volcano National Park. Today you wear it for the first time. Its fits you perfectly. I have a matching shirt. During the party, we eat artichoke dip on floor together. It’s lovely.
Love,
Mama
This shirt! ❤️
