Dear Reese,
When I pick you up, you have a little ponytail on top of your head, tied with a pink rubber band. Your teacher was doing hair today. It’s unbearably cute. I also have a hard time getting it out without pulling your hair. I am not sure I have the coordination to do a little ponytail like that for you, but I keep the pink hair band.
In other news, you continue to be fever-free. Though I heard you took a two-hour and forty-minute nap today (your teacher finally started vacuuming to wake you up . . . I guess you looked up a couple times when other kids were getting up and then were like ‘nope’ and went back to sleep).
You just want to be held this evening. But your appetite is back, and you seem more like yourself again.
Love,
Mama
