Dear Reese,

I work from home, from my tower, today for the first time. I take a picture of the deer that pass below the window.

When we’re in the Rec Room after dinner tonight, I watch you stack large Legos together, building something for yourself. You used to only knock towers over and now you create them too.

When I say we have to put our toys on the shelf before we go downstairs, you help me, then pause at the small whale stuffy. You take it off the shelf and go put it in the chest with the other stuffed animals — one we haven’t opened tonight, but filled up with stuffed animals yesterday. This amazes me.
