Dear Reese,
Today — steps. Plural. Six in a row, I think. When we were up in the bunkroom, Cappi suggested this was a good place to practice and urged you to walk with him, and you immediately took three steps. We did it again, six steps. We called MorMor up and got it on camera.
Little, wobbly, cautious — but steps!
It’s been a hard family week with Cappi’s sailing accident and upcoming surgery . . . and I’m not feeling my best the last couple days, but all of us around you watching you take your first steps together felt right. Important. Joyful.
You are surrounded by love, baby girl.
Love,
Mama
Way to go Reese!!!! 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
