Dear Reese,
You are 15 months old today. I remember after you have gone to sleep while talking to your Aunt Z, but you and I did have a little treat this evening that feels like an appropriate celebration.
I experimented and made frozen yogurt peanut butter treats. Whole milk yogurt + peanut butter mixed together and put in cake cups in a muffin tin. Topped with mini chocolate chips and sprinkles. I mix and pour them while you’re standing in your tower at the counter, and while we wait for our crescent roll pizza roll-ups to finish cooking (I did an egg wash on those, I’m practically Martha Stewart tonight).
We freeze the yogurt cups for an hour and take them out as a bedtime snack to try. At first, you just pick off all the mini chocolate chips but then I cut it up into pieces for you, and you seem to enjoy it. I enjoy mine. And it feels like a semi-healthy dessert.
My internet algorithm feeds me a lot of muffin tin toddler recipe inspiration so maybe I’ll keep trying some new things. It was a lovely way to pass the time with you while we waited for dinner.

Love,
Mama
